SCF's Work with Families
Strengthening families is at the heart of everything we do.

For over 30 years, Southeast Children's Fund has worked alongside families in Washington, DC — connecting caregivers to childcare, financial support, health resources, and early learning opportunities. Our Family Resource Hub is built on a simple belief: when families have access to trusted, practical tools, children thrive.

SCF's community-informed approach ensures every resource here reflects the real needs of DC families — especially those in Wards 7 and 8 east of the Anacostia River. We partner with educators, providers, and families to keep this hub growing. All resources are verified, free or low-cost, and available across all 8 DC wards.
