Kamren Rollins is a transformational nonprofit executive and systems leader dedicated to advancing educational equity and workforce development in historically underserved communities. He currently serves as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Southeast Children's Fund (SCF), a 30+ year anchor institution supporting early childhood educators, children, and families across Washington, DC.
Since joining SCF in 2019, Kamren has led a period of significant organizational growth and stabilization — aligning the organization's community-rooted legacy with a forward-looking vision that strengthens educator preparation, retention, and advancement across Washington, DC. Under his leadership, SCF expanded its budget from $350,000 to more than $5 million, modernized internal systems, strengthened board governance, and launched and scaled the DC LEAD initiative, a citywide scholarship program that has supported degree attainment for hundreds of early childhood educators and positioned SCF as a trusted workforce intermediary.
Kamren brings deep experience in nonprofit operations, fundraising, and cross-sector collaboration, with a strong emphasis on fiscal stewardship, compliance, and long-term sustainability. He is a Policy Fellow with the National Black Child Development Institute and an active civic leader in Washington, DC. Kamren is a proud graduate of Morehouse College.
